The course offers a specialised and professional training on theoretical and technological applications necessary for the implementation of Smart Grids.


200 hours (120 hours class; 80 hours traineeship)

Training Exchange Seminars in Cagliari (Italy) in May and Sousse (Tunisia) in June 


Entry qualifications: Degree in Electric Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent academic title.

Unemployed people under 35 years


Smart grids are energy networks that can automatically monitor energy flows and adjust to changes in energy supply and demand accordingly, in order to distribute energy in a more efficient, sustainable and safer way. The training of this emerging professional foresees interdisciplinary competences, able to comply with current complex issues at energy level, to be able to plan networks capable of smartly managing different energy flows.   • Structure of the electric system and grid regulation issues
  • Smart Grid architecture
  • Distributed generation
  • Systems of energetic accumulation
  • Mobility in smart/micro grid
  • Control system
  • Communication system for smart/micro grid
